I’ve been working on assembling a collection of Christmas music that doesn’t feel like I’m listening to the same old songs over and over again. Not that the classics aren’t…well, classics. But I’m going more for cool renditions of them and other songs that don’t typically get much airplay.
So in my quest for such tuneage, I stumbled across this gem. Obviously I couldn’t hoard it to myself. Below are some of the lyrics as best as I could make them out.
[ The Paris Sisters - The Man With The Mistletoe Mustache ]
When Christmas rolls around,
who always comes to town?
What a freak! He’s so unique!
The man with the mistletoe mustache
He only laughs and plays
on Christmas holidays
Steals a kiss from every miss
The man with the mistletoe mustache
If your girl’s acting weird
and her lipstick is smeared
do take care, beware beware
of the man with the mistletoe mustache
When stocking’s have been filled
he keeps the ladies thrilled.
Thinks it’s fun to kiss and run
the man with the mistletoe mustache
Who always runs away
right after New Years’ Day?
But who’ll appear again next year?
The man with the mistletoe mustache!
